As you know, our family loves staycations. We love to visit different hotels and spend a night or two while traveling or may it be just spending much-needed R&R. When staying in a hotel, there are certain amenities that I wanted to consider before booking.
So, what do I usually look for in a hotel? For me, I just needed a spacious room where my kids has enough space to play. A separate working area so I could work. Also, a hot and cold shower is a must. For my husband, he simply wants a large TV.
Winford Resort and Casino Manila checked all these boxes for us. Located in the busy streets of Sta. Cruz, Manila. This hotel and casino isn’t hard to find and just beside SM City San Lazaro.
Spacious room indeed. We stayed in a Deluxe Room with 2 Queen Beds and comes with breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids.
When we arrived, we were welcomed by this cute little towel art. My kids were so happy seeing this little plushie toy and we didn’t even dare touch it. 😀

For my kids, all they wanted is a pool. And what’s makes this hotel amazing is their heated outdoor pool. This is the first ever heated outdoor pool in Manila and we got to enjoy it to ourselves.
Now, my kids can enjoy swimming more than they should.

We had breakfast at Copa de Manila and I was so thrilled to see the spread at the buffet table. Located on the Ground Floor of Winford Hotel and Casino Manila, Copa de Manila has dishes from salad, fresh fruits, rice, different type of eggs, ham, sausages, porridges, and more…
During weekends, Copa de Manila tends to be full. We had breakfast at the Grand Ballroom on our second day instead.
And here’s the food that my kids got to enjoy- cereal, champorado, and the delectable hot chocolate. You might think that it’s just a simple hot chocolate, but it was really good! They used quality chocolate here.
As for me, I had the usual coffee, eggs, sausages, and bread. This is one breakfast that all of us got to enjoy.
If you’re looking for an amazing hotel in Manila, I could definitely vouch for Winford Resort and Casino Manila. They exceeded my expectations and didn’t know that there’s such a hotel in this area. For its price, it is affordable and a value for money. They have friendly and courteous staff, flavorsome food, and our favorite outdoor heated pool. What more can you ask for?
