Located in LKG Tower in Makati, Food Odyssey is our usual place to have our lunch when we’re craving for something else besides what’s in RCBC Tower.  Tomochan Ramen Express is a great addition to food stalls here as it offers affordable authentic Japanese meals that’s perfect for your budget.

There’s Ramen for as low as Php99. Imagine, you get an authentic Japanese Ramen for this price. So, that’s Shoyu Basic which has half egg, 2 slices of pork and leek.

Shoyu Special (Php149) has whole egg, 4 lsices of pork, leek, vegee and seaweed.

Spicy Shoyu Tantan (Php129) Half egg, spicy pork, leek and vegee

I would say that the Ramen tasted a bit bland for my taste.  I find it affordable though.  Make sure to add something in your Ramen to have more flavors. There’s add ons available for an additional price.
There are Rice Meals available, too.  There are Chicken, Pork and Gyoza to choose from.

Katsu with Rice and Cabbage (Php79) The Katsu was tender and fried perfectly. Add sauce for additional sweet and salty flavor.

We were able to try Gyoza with Rice and Cabbage (Php79) There’s fa hint of sourness in the Gyoza but taste rather good.

They will be releasing a giant bowl of Ramen good for 4-5 persons.

Overall, Tomochan Ramen Express is a place to go if you wanted authentic and affordable Japanese food.  I did like their rice meals and would definitely come back for it.
