Tokyo Tonteki offers a reasonable price for a Japanese food perfect for lunch out with family or even office-mates near Greenbelt area. Japanese food has a special place in my heart and in my tummy. I’m glad this place is near the office which we can go whenever we crave for something Tonteki.
I was impressed of what was served to us during the visit as all the dishes were rich in flavor. I had the Cheese Tonburg set.



The ground meat patty was cooked perfectly, topped with cheese served on a sizzling plate for that melted cheesy effect. It was tender and flavorsome all throughout.
I also enjoyed their Large Tonteki set which was large enough that it was able to feed 4 people. I was exaggerating but you get what I mean that it’s for more than 1 person.
I appreciate that when you slice the meat up, you can feel its tenderness and when chewed, it melts in your mouth.



It’s good to know that they have Mixed and Match for you to taste two viands. You can order a Mini Sondubu Style Tonteki, Mini Chicken with Tonteki Sauce, Moni Chopped Tonteki paired with either Ebi Fry, Salmon Katsu and Chicken Karaage. I was able to try Ebi Fry and Chicken Karaage. Both tasted amazing.




The Milk tea topped with vanilla ice cream blended well together.

For dessert, we get to try their Matcha Cheesecake, I like that it does not have a strong flavor of Matcha that much. It was fluffy and tasted so good.

Also, the Crème Brulee. It was creamy and decadent. It’s not that sweet which makes it a favorite in here.

Also, the sets include unlimited Rice, Miso Soup, and Shredded Cabbage.


All in all, It’s good to know there’s another Japanese restaurant which offers good Tonteki.
