One of my favorite Korean Restaurant just opened their Manila branch recently. With this, it’s now more convenient to get here when craving for their food. As you know, I love Soban a lot that I recommend this to everyone as one of the best. They not just offer meat to grill, there’s Korean Fries, Gimbap,
We tried their Classic BBQ Combo Set. There two flavors of 180g Samgyupsal and Beef Belly. There’s two flavors available which are Fruity and Original. To cook it properly, make sure to ask the servers as there are specific time on how to cook your meat.
Upgrade your rice to Kimchi Rice. It has the right amount of spiciness to it.
Here’s my favorite dishes:
Haemul Pajeon – Korean Pancakes with shrimp, squid, meat and some vegetables. Crispy yet chewy. Definitely a star of Soban. Make sure to get one.
Boneless Fried Chicken (Dak Ganjeong) – deep fried to tender chicken. I like that the chicken was still juicy inside. Love the caramelized taste too. This was topped with some sesame seeds that added more flavor.
Kimchi Fries – golden brown fries with their own flavor topped with some Kimchi and meat with loads of cheese! It was such a clever idea as they match perfectly.
Gimbap – this rice rolls were tasty. It has cucumber, egg, carrots, cheese and some meat. There’s no need for any sauce as I find it perfect as it is.
Japchae – soft glass-like Vermicelli. It tasted a bit sweet yet savory at the same time. There’s some wood-ear mushrooms, vegetables and meat too. One of the best Japchae there is.
There’s some dessert available as well. This time, we get to try their Coffee Crepe. Such a nice way to end a meal.
There’s some refreshing Soju and other cocktails available here too.
All these is at 2,200 good for 3-4 people. With the quality of meat, ambiance, attentiveness of the staff and it’s service, this definitely deserves a 5/5 for me.
