I am such a fan of Thai food and if you are, too, I highly recommend Mango Tree Café for all the dishes that I’ve tried are just bursting with flavors. There are sweet, sour, savory, and just delicious food all throughout. They recently reopened at TriNoMa with a much fresh and unique interiors. Making it chic, stylish, yet comfortable for all generations.
Starting with their Thai Iced Tea, this is by far one of the best I’ve had. It’s creamy, rich in tea flavor but not overpowering. There’s Green Mango Shake as well.
We had Green Mango Salad for appetizer and it indeed kick-start our craving for something more. It was refreshingly good with its shredded green mango, fresh onions, chili, topped with celery.
Chicken Stay was plated really well. It was as if you’re still grilling but really, this is completely cooked. It has 2 sauces and both added flavors to these tender chicken.
Bagoong Rice was perfect pair for all the meats served.
When it comes to fried chicken, we’re usually used to the bland ones and needs to have gravy or sauces to enhance the flavor but not with this Tom Yum Fried Chicken, it’s so flavorful that you don’t need to add to it. It’s sour, crispy, and salty but each flavors are balanced. This chicken is addicting!
With the Lemongrass Chicken, I needed to have the sauce. The vinegar sauce was perfect to it. The chicken was grilled to perfection making it juicy.
When it comes to Thai food, I will never skip on Pad Thai and this right here at Mango Tree Café offers one of the best. I kid you not, the noodles were cooked perfectly. It might look a little soggy but there’s a bite into it- still al dente. The sauce was soooo good with sour/sweet/savory flavors. But the best thing here is the Soft Shell Crab! Oh man, one of the best in the country!
Don’t forget to order these desserts: Tako Khao Pod and Mango Sticky Rice to have a delightful ending to your meal.
Overall, Mango Tree Café is one of the Thai restaurants that I will surely come back to. They have the right flavors, cozy ambiance, and attentive staff.
