When it comes to traveling, one of the things I look forward to most is discovering great places to eat. But planning where to dine can sometimes feel overwhelming—especially in Tokyo, Japan, a city known for its incredible and diverse food scene.
Thankfully, I came across Kioicho Hassan, a long-standing Izakaya that has been serving customers since 1979. Renowned for its premium Japanese Black Wagyu beef, the restaurant specializes in high-quality shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, alongside Edomae-style sushi crafted from carefully selected ingredients. It’s the kind of place that makes choosing where to eat in Tokyo a whole lot easier.
We had such an amazing dining experience at Kioicho Hassan in Tokyo. From the moment we arrived, everything already felt luxurious and welcoming. You can watch my reel here.
We were warmly welcomed by a Japanese lady host and escorted to our own private tatami room, which made the whole experience feel even more special and authentic. The ambiance was elegant, cozy, and intimate — truly a hidden gem in Tokyo.
Their premium all-you-can-eat course featured Wagyu Kobe Beef Spencer Roll Sukiyaki, sushi, and tempura for JPY 33,000. Every bite was incredible. The beef was beautifully marbled, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and packed with rich flavor. Paired with freshly made sushi and crispy tempura, it was one of the most indulgent meals we’ve had in Japan.
What we loved most was how private and relaxing the dining experience felt. It’s perfect for anyone looking to enjoy premium Kobe beef and wagyu in a more exclusive setting.
