I love Takoyaki, it’s one of the many great foods the Japanese people have contributed in terms of street-food. It’s easy to eat, it’s fluffy and sweet-savory.

Bikkuri Takoyaki is a stall located in Dasmarinas and some other places in Cavite and Laguna. They offer Japanese street-food such as Takoyaki, Yakisoba, and Okonomiyaki. I tried two flavors of the soft, fluffy Takoyaki which is perfect when dipped in their homemade sauce:

Chizu – This is one of the best sellers and I think I know why.  If you love cheese as much as I do, this one is perfect.  It has generous shredded cheese on top with some Bonito Flakes .

Special – This is much meatier with octopus bits inside.  The chunks of octopus are cooked perfectly. It matched the softness of the batter and the chewy meat.

Yakisoba – savory stir-fried noodles with chunks of chicken and vegetables. It has the right amount of saltiness here. I just think the noodles were a bit soggy.

Okonomiyaki – so plump with cabbage, egg, and Yakisoba inside. This was topped with some cheese and Bonito flakes as well. It’s really one filling dish.

All the dishes were satisfying. My daughter and I loved it.
